So, Rubio and Trump continue to try to save the American Empire by dismantling the ICC. Well, of course! When children bullies can’t get their own way with the teachers, they go around trying to break everyone else’s toys and self-esteem. This is reflective in what is happening with the Trump administration. We may all like watching the Hulk on TV busting things up, but when we see it in reality with our leaders, it’s ridiculous and outrageous.
There needs to be order in the chaos of the world not anarchy. The ICC helps to smooth over the international criminal chaos so if it is dismantled, war criminals and such will go back to getting away with genocide and ethnic cleansing as well as violating human rights. In looking at it from this perspective, I can only surmise that Rubio and Trump want to dismantle the ICC because they are afraid. They have committed war crimes in Iran, supported Netanyahu with his genocide, and put puppet governments all over the world that have failed to bring their countries in line with American thought.
Empires die because they are trying to control others and end up spreading themselves too thin. America has not only spread themselves around the globe, boasting that they are better than everyone else (ethnocentrism), but the government has also decided to kill off or punish their own population. This is ruthless and is not going to go away by ignoring the consequences of their actions.
By eliminating the ICC, Trump and his enterrage can get away with the immoral actions they have adhered too. Trump and Rubio are war criminals and should be held accountable not running a country that is slowly being drawn back into 3rd world status. They are up to their necks in fear of being caught and punished for their actions. They don’t care about other people, only themselves. And only the American people can dispose of them by sending them to the Hague!
What exactly are the American people waiting for? You elected him! Why wait till the mid-terms? Why let this madness continue? Go into their homes and arrest them, just like they did to Maduro (other, I agree he was a dictator, the way he was taken down was unjust). So what exactly are Americans waiting for?
