Hideout

Darkness fell over me once more and I found myself seeking my hideout once again. Evil resided in our house. I felt afraid and angry but could only escape into my mind.

Years went by before I was able to see my hideout for what it was, a mental place to escape to. Too easy was it to hide away there.

More years later and I now know what it feels like to close the door on my hideout. It’s getting easier every day thanks to a change of lifestyle, mindset and a terrific man.
