Recently I was warmly received at my family’s reunion.  It was a small crowd, the day I attended, since, unbeknownst to me, the main event was to occur the day after.

It is always enjoyable to see family members that I’ve not seen in a long time, since I don’t attend this annual gathering yearly.

A cousin of mine had graciously brought hamburgers and hot dogs and BBQ’d them!  Salads and cold pop was served as well!  Everything was good! Later some enjoyed pizza and wings!  Conversations were happy! 

Truthfully, the only downside to the day was the rain that tried not to let up!  

It sure was nice to see everyone and my son and boyfriend enjoyed our visit!

Thanks to everyone who fed us and gave us good company!  A special thanks to my uncle who hosted that event and for everyone involved in organizing the who weekend!
