To write what people actually read, you need to figure out what audience you plan to target by either age, culture, gender, demographics, etc.  Then, decide what is important to those particular people.  It helps to keep the topic short, concise, make every word mean something and clear with no grammatical or spelling errors.  Decide whether you are sharing your opinion or facts that need citations.  Tagging is also a good way to ensure people in your group are able to find your work quickly.
